Dr. Campbell Waldrop, a partner at EYE-Q Vision Care, specializes in ophthalmic plastic surgery at EYE-Q Vision Care. Dr. Waldrop earned his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has completed additional fellowship training in ophthalmic plastic surgery at the University of Vermont. His practice is focused on eyelid plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Waldrop is a member of many medical societies including the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has published articles for medical journals and meetings with the emphasis on ophthalmic plastic surgery. He enjoys his work and is happy to bring his expertise to the people of the San Joaquin Valley.
Dr. Samuel Hinton specializes in cataract surgery and laser vision correction at EYE-Q Vision Care using the most advanced technology available today. Dr. Hinton earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University in California and was Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Hinton is a native of Fresno where he graduated from Fresno Christian High School and completed his under graduate education at Fresno Pacific University. Dr. Hinton's interest in ophthalmology was sparked by a childhood visit to this practice. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys.
Dr. Michael Walker specializes in laser vision correction, intraocular refractive procedures, corneal transplantation techniques, and cataract surgery using the most advanced technology available today.
Dr. Walker earned his medical degree from the nation’s oldest medical school and member of the Ivy League, the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, he stayed at Penn for internship and residency in ophthalmology. He then completed his training at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University with a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery.
A native of Colorado, Dr. Walker earned his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Colorado before moving to Maryland where he met his wife, Lisa. They love the climate and people of the San Joaquin valley and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring all that California has to offer.

Dr. Thomas Corbett specializes in general ophthalmology at EYE-Q. He brings decades of experience to our north valley patients in Merced.
After three years in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Corbett attended Adelphi University and completed his medical degree at the State University of New York. He did his internship and residency in anesthesia at Los Angeles County Hospital. While observing surgeries as an anesthesiologist, Dr. Corbett decided to pursue a career as an ophthalmologist.
Dr. Corbett completed his residency at Tulane University and the University of Mississippi. He also completed a fellowship in strabismus at South Kettlewell Institute of Visual Science in San Francisco.
Along with more than 40 years of private practice in Merced, Dr. Corbett’s many accomplishments include becoming a professor for the U.C. Davis Family Practice Program at Merced General Hospital and acting as a consultant for 37 years at Castle Air Force Base. He has volunteered as a consultant for California Heath Care and Hospice and has used his skills as an ophthalmologist in Haiti.
Dr Setareh Vistamehr specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous including among others, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular disease, macular holes and puckers, retinal detachment and retinal vascular disease.
Dr Vistamehr earned her medical degree from Shahid Beheshti Medical School (former Melli University) in Tehran. After completing her internship at Griffin Hospital, a Yale affiliated hospital; she did a year of research focusing on retinal synaptic plasticity at the Yale University Retinal Electrophysiology lab.
She then completed an Ophthalmology residency at Yale University and stayed for a two year vitreo-retinal fellowship.
Dr Vistamehr is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
